The Program

Where finance, code, and ambition meet.

A 12-month integrative master's program in Belgrade combining cutting-edge finance, programming (Python and R), AI, and data science — taught in English, designed for working professionals and international candidates.

How it works

Hybrid delivery — built for working professionals.

Three commitments make MCF compatible with full-time work and international participation.

Classroom + live online + recorded

Classes meet at RAF (Knez Mihailova 6) and stream live to remote participants. Every lecture is recorded for later viewing — never miss the material.

Evening schedule, 18:00–21:00 CET

Up to three sessions per week. Compatible with full-time employment in any European time zone — including remote roles in fintech and finance.

Employed-friendly · Foreigner-friendly

Async catch-up between live sessions. International candidates participate without relocating. Short-Cycle pathway bypasses Serbian nostrification.

Program overview

An integrative master, not a finance + tech sandwich.

We are looking for talented and creative individuals interested in developing world-class expertise in computational finance and becoming active players in the regional and global marketplace. While strong quantitative aptitude is beneficial, there are no formal requirements in terms of background or major. What is crucial is curiosity and motivation.

Our program is designed for those who aspire to become leaders in the evolving global and regional financial landscapes — equipped with skills that extend beyond traditional finance into programming, data science, and AI applications.

If you're ready to embrace the integration of finance with Python and R programming, machine learning, and generative AI systems — and unlock their potential in solving real-world business challenges — this program is for you.

Two tracks. One curriculum.

Questions we often hear

Frequently asked.

Can I apply if I don't have a 4-year (240 ECTS) degree?
Yes. The Short-Cycle track is designed exactly for this case — you complete the same coursework, earn a recognised certificate, and can convert to the full Master degree later by adding the thesis component.
Can I take the program remotely?
Yes. Every lecture is delivered in hybrid format: live in the RAF classroom, simulcast online, and recorded. Several students in each cohort participate fully from abroad.
I'm employed full-time. Can I still attend?
Yes — the schedule (evening sessions 18:00–21:00 CET, max 3× weekly, plus recordings) is built for working professionals. The majority of our students are employed in finance, tech, or consulting.
I have a foreign degree. Do I need nostrification?
Not for the Short-Cycle path. Foreign-degree holders enrol directly into Short-Cycle, complete coursework, and can pursue Serbian nostrification afterwards if conversion to Master is desired.
Does MCF help prepare for CFA, FRM, PRMIA?
Yes. Curriculum modules align with several CFA Level I/II topics, FRM Part I/II, and PRMIA exams. Faculty include CFA charterholders and PRMIA fellows.
When is the Bootcamp organized?
December through February. The intensive Bootcamp covers Python and R fundamentals for participants whose programming background needs reinforcement before the main coursework begins.
What's the application deadline?
September 15, 2026 for the Sept 2026 intake. Applications are rolling — earlier submissions receive priority interview slots and scholarship consideration.
Is there scholarship financial aid?
Yes. The Ominimo Excellence Scholarship covers full tuition for one outstanding candidate per cohort. Tuition reduction of up to 50% is available via direct discussion with the Program Director for highly motivated applicants.
